Touchmark aims to fill 80% of manager roles at new communities from within
Touchmark's leadership programs aim to have 80% of managers at new communities come from within the company. The operator of 16 communities with 3,000 staff is building in Fort Collins, Colorado, and Anchorage, Alaska, and has renovated all dining spaces from cafeteria style to restaurant-quality menu and service. CEO Marcus Breuer said leadership development is a top priority.
Why it matters for directors: Growth plans depend on a bench of internal leaders; dining teams can use development programs to fill new kitchens and backfill existing ones.
